Joe Hearn spent seven years with the Royal Marines before he suffered life changing injuries that meant he was no longer fit to serve. He has since started studying English and Media at Cardiff Metropolitan University, as he aims to become a journalist, and report on the same service he was forced to leave behind. In this interview he describes the changes in his lifestyle since his time with the Marines ended, and how he plans to move forward with his new life.
